Joseph had a very rough beginning.

He was found as a starving kitten in an apartment complex.

He had a severe respiratory infection and after weeks of care and medicine, he over came it.

A short time later, Joseph had the equivalent of Parvo, but survived that also.

After getting over Parvo (Panleukopenia in cats) polyps began growing in both of his ears.

He was still only a small kitten when the polyps began, and he had to wait until he was big enough for surgery.

Finally, he was big enough and had the polyps removed, but they caused him to lose his hearing.

Joseph is a carefree, happy guy even though he has been through so much and he doesn't let his deafness slow him down.

He has decided he is an alpha cat and picks on some of his kitty brothers and sisters.

However, he loves the dog he lives with and would really prefer to live with a dog and no cats.

When you hold Joseph, he puts his legs around your neck and nuzzles your chin and throat.

He loves people.

Oh, and you will be mesmerized by his beautiful green eyes.
