This BMW M3 is one of 600 Sport Evolution models produced for the 1990 model year and is finished in Brilliant Red over cloth upholstery with striped M-Tech inserts. BMW introduced the M3 Evolution as a limited-production homologation model for the 1988 model year, and the Sport Evolution version was produced for 1990 only with more power and revised bodywork. Just 600 examples were built, with each featuring a multi-position front splitter, brake ducts in place of fog lights, thinner glass, an adjustable rear spoiler, and high-arch front fenders designed to clear 18″ wheels for racing. Brillantrot and features an electric sunroof, a roof-mounted antenna, and Bosch “smiley” ellipsoid headlights in European-market grilles.
