1933 Ford Victoria #19HOU for sale in Houston, Texas

$54,000

Stock #19HOU
Up for sale in the Houston showroom is a gorgeous street rod, the 1933 Ford Victoria or Vicky. The model year 1933 should have been a banner year for the Ford Motor Company following the introduction of the revolutionary flat-head V-8 engine. Only it wasn't. For the first time, Ford dropped to third place in automotive sales behind General Motors and Chrysler, thanks largely to the Depression and Henry Ford's reluctance to modernize the style of his cars. Definitely not the case in today's street rod market. The Vicky you're looking at today is one of the most desirable of all the rodders. The build started with a down full fiber glass body. Minus the hood, the car is full fiberglass. But if you know about Downs, you know these are some of the best crafted fiberglass bodies available. After the body was coated in the gorgeous House of Color Cosmos Red, 12 coats to be exact it was set on fully boxed frame from TCI with tubular center sections. The chassis went under heavy modification with the narrowing to fit the wider tires and raised cross member for the most aggressive look obtainable. Powered by '72 302 cubic inch engine bored .30 that's fitted with a full Edelbrock air/fuel induction system. Ron Francis supplied the high output chrome alternator and Sanden brought a chrome Ac compressor to the build. Backing this well crafted small is a built C4 3 speed automatic transmission and putting the power to the ground is Currie 8" rear end packed with 3.25:1 ring and pinion. The interior was done as clean as the exterior. A full fiberglass dash was installed and a VDO 5 gauge pod back lighted in red topped that off. A Budnick steering wheel with color matched leather wrap was put on a factory tilt steering column with no shifter opening and also color matched. Cerrillo tweed seats keep you comfy on long cruises or jut driving daily and considering the rear matches the front your passengers will be comfortable as well. A Gennie floor shifter helps through the gears and custom specialty power windows add the modern touch. The sound system has been upgraded heavily with a Kenwood Am/Fm/Cd head unit. Two custom mounted 6x9" are mounted in the rear while two 5" rest overhead in the front. And if you really want to be seen more than you already do, turn up the radio and let the two 10" subwoofers rock the house. Options on this gorgeous 1933 Ford Victoria include: A/C, am/fm/cd, tweed interior, power brakes, power windows, seat belt, tilt wheel and Boyd aluminum alloy custom wheels wrapped in performance radial tires.
