Up for sale in the Houston showroom is one monster muscle car and a gorgeous Resto-Mod, the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute. The Chevrolet Chevelle for sale is a mid-sized car built by the Chevrolet division of General Motors in three generations for the 1964 through 1977 model years. Part of the GM A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates and that still remains a fact. The Chevelle for sale also provided the platform for the Monte Carlo introduced in 1970. The Malibu, the top of the line model through 1972, replaced the Chevelle nameplate for the redesigned and downsized 1978 models. Now its pretty obvious that this particular Chevelle has gone under the knife for some serious upgrades, modifications and restoration. Powering this monster muscle machine is a 454 C.I.D big block V8 that ATK provided. Its is dyno proven @ 415hp. Its topped with an Edelbrock dual plane performer intake and a HR-780 Quick Fuel injection system. Putting a fire down this big blocks throat is a MSD distributor and soaking it in with the fuel via the Holley electric fuel pump. Taking all the power in the transfer from front to back is an M20 4 speed manual and putting the power and torque to the ground is a 12 bolt rear end packed with an Eaton 4.11 posi ring and pinion. Pumping out the thunderous music that everyone gathers to listen to is a set Hedmann short tube headers that are 1 3/4" exhaust tube with a 3" collector and 2 1/2" Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust out the back. The suspension and braking system have been restored and upgraded compliments of BMR lowering springs, KYB shock absorbers, forged spindles, bigger sway bars in the front and rear and pure muscle boxed rear control arms. As you can tell the owners didn't spare a dime and the brake system is no different with the addition of 4 wheel cross drilled and slotted rotors and twin piston calipers. The interior is stunning in custom stitched Charcoal leather, vintage air controls keep you cool on those hot days, custom dash loaded with Autometer gauges to help keep an eye on all parameters of the car. IDIDIT supplied the chromed out tilt steering column and Colorado Customs provided the steering wheel. The sound system was drastically upgraded as well including a Kenwood head unit that is bluetooth and MP3 compatible. Rockford Fosgate provide the 4 GA wiring kit that is connecting the 4 Alpine 6x9 Type R Coaxil speakers and a Rockford Fosgate Punch power T0 subwoofer in a custom enclosure. This is the ultimate in performance pro touring builds and this is one of the best that Texas has to offer my friends! Options on this beautiful 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Pro-Touring Resto-Mod include: A/C, am/fm/cd, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, seat belts and aluminum alloy wheel wrapped in performance radial tires.
