Nice but unreliable
By Svinaldo, December 26, 2009

I've a 525 truck, and it's established extremely unreliable, while it's a blast to operate a vehicle. I've held it for annually and the next have required fix:
- Fresh turbo (I've the 525 diesel). BMW noted this to be always a typical issue.
- Airbag image started initially to illuminate twice, two distinct issues
- License plate lights went, first one then your next. Changed the lights, however it was because of damaged cables from the joint. Price > $1000 to repair!
- Rear wiper stopped working and then I possibly could not open the shoe! Additionally because of damaged cables from the joint. Once the permit location lamps went I ought to have changed the funnel, but pity on you BMW that you've such silly style issus. Trunks must certanly be made to be opened and closed without busting the cables!!
- While traveling around the highway, REDDISH were gone by the primary show having a large notice "Common electric malfunction. It's difficult to carry on your trip. Please quit and contact BMW". The motor didn't quit, and the alert went away and hasn't been observed again. Scary after 10 seconds!
- There's a clunking noise inside the drive-train within the brief second between accelerating and decelerating (and change). BMW claimed it was regular and tested it out, but I do not believe it's.

Excellent car to operate a vehicle, but BMW must certanly be embarrassed of the stability.

Fun car to drive

This vehicle is just a blast to operate a vehicle. It's the sense of a lot more energy than you'd imagine in the motor size and result, although itis not the 300 horsepower design. Using The 6-spd, it gets more than around 20 mpg area and 30 mpg highway.
