Brief Description

Completes and files all required forms necessary for the regulation of drilling, producing & completing wells. Coordinates completion of various environmental and regulatory plans.

Detailed Description

* Prepares and submits required forms and permits for Onshore Wetlands and federal drilling and producing & completing wells in assigned areas.

* Interfaces with Governmental agencies.

* Provides research on regulatory issues.

* Analyzes and communicates new and changed governmental regulations to interested parties.

* Tracks environmental data covering drilling, well work and production activities.

* Coordinates preparation of Spill Response plans, Spill reporting procedures and Emergency Evacuation plans.

Job Requirements

* Bachelors Degree and two years of regulatory experience ,or Associates Degree and three years of regulatory experience, or High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of Oil & Gas regulatory or accounting experience.

* Familiarity with proper procedures and government requirements for the submittal of regulatory permits.

* Proficient in new regulations NTL 06, NTL 10, and new drilling safety rules (deepwater analyst only).

* Knowledge of new NEPA requirements from BOEMRE Plan approval (deepwater analyst only).

* Knowledge of oilfield equipment and terminology.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
