Office Sales Assistant $ 9.0 0 - - Must know QuickBooks in Houston, Texas

Maintains office operations by receiving and distributing Communications; maintaining supplies and equipment; picking-up and delivering items; serving customers. In addition, associate is responsible for writing work orders and following the order process and for selling and taking orders from established customers as well as developing new prospects. Applies a complete knowledge of all the organization's products, services, and polices to close sales. Uses specialized training within product and service lines to maximize sales efforts.
Duties:

Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information.

Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items; delivering supplies to work stations.

Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting failures; calling for repairs; monitoring equipment operation; monitoring and purchasing meter fund.

Maintains office schedule by picking-up and delivering items using automobile.

Serves customers by answering phones; answering questions; forwarding messages; confirming customer orders; keeping customers informed of order status.

Sells the organization's products and services by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects

Maintains a sales program within the territory based on customers estimated requirements

Informs customers of supply and price trends

Calls on existing or potential customers

Manages collections on open invoices

Stays informed on new products/services and other general information of interest to customers

Responsible for securing and renewal of orders, arranging delivery dates and other incidents to actual sales

Assists in training Sales Representatives

Must keep detailed records and create reports on all activities

Make organization's services available to customers

Solves Customer issues or escalates to Customer Relations

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
